If you hit your wife that's bad. If you hit your kids that's discipline? 50 years ago, both hitting your wife was normal. Today you can go to prison.Of course they are your kids and you have responsibility to educate them, I don't have any children myself, but I think if your personality is too weak to teach your children without physical violence, then you are maybe not the right person to have children in the first place. Saying, well, you know, I am only spanking them not hitting them is similar to the excuses I saw in your article about spousal accuse, like "oh, but he's not hitting that hard." Don't hit your children.benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09524123937381201792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-982080972253241235.post-9711636614679682062009-01-28T15:52:00.000-08:002009-01-28T15:52:00.000-08:00There's a difference. My kids were spanked when they were younger, never beaten.
It's not against the law to spank your child in Florida. The only time you can get in trouble for that here is if you leave bruises.
Personally, I think what is wrong with these snot-nosed brats that you hear about in the news is there is no genuine discipline from the parents; the inmates are running the asylum.
You can thank Dr. Spock for that.Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00201890013070175527noreply@blogger.com
