Every now and then, it is okay to silent. It isn't always necessary to participate in every meaningless conversations, respond to negative comments, and engage in confusion or drama. Silence helps you concentrate on your own thoughts, entertain positive ideas, and focus on what you need to do. Silence also helps you to avoid distraction.
My grandmother used to say that, "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all". The reality is that many people really do not have anything nice to say. Therefore, I think being silent is the prescription to the negative illness that is spreading around rapidly. Being silent will help you put things into perspective.
As you go into this week, forget about other people's drama and personal issues. Forget about what people are saying and doing around you or behind your back. Focus on yourself, your goals, your thoughts, and your ideas. Remain silent. You don't have to respond to everything.
I have learned that sometimes the enemy wants a response out of you, just because. After a while of being silent, you will begin to find your own inner peace, solutions to your own problems, and not someone else influencing your thoughts.
